How do we know if we are getting better at designing and running clinical trials? To fulfill our vision of efficient, meaningful clinical trials, creating a baseline and tracking changes over time is crucial. CTTI maintains the database for the Aggregate Analysis of ClinicalTrials.gov (AACT), facilitating easier access and analysis of data submitted to ClinicalTrials.gov. Key publications from CTTI using AACT characterize the state of clinical trials.
In collaboration with the FDA, CTTI has identified barriers to timely, accurate, and complete trial information submission on ClinicalTrials.gov, releasing a report with strategies and recommendations for improvement.
CTTI’s Transforming Trials 2030 vision outlines five key pillars for how clinical trials should be by the year 2030. The Measuring Trials Transformation project aims to establish key milestones and measures to monitor and assess progress towards this vision.
