Ana Zanoletty is the Head of Clinical Trials Transformation at the European Medicines Agency (EMA) where she leads the European clinical trials transformation initiative Accelerating Clinical Trials in the EU (ACT EU), which is co-led by the European Commission, Heads of Medicines Agencies, and the EMA. In her role, Ms. Zanoletty also oversees change management activities related to implementation of EU Clinical Trials Regulation and the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS) and the provision of support to EU Member States in matters related to clinical trials. Prior to taking on this role, Ms. Zanoletty was the programme manager for ACT EU. She joined the EMA 19 years ago and has extensive experience in both pre- and post-marketing authorization procedures across different therapeutic areas. Prior to joining the EMA, she worked for several years in clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry. Ms. Zanoletty has a diploma in Dietetics and Human Nutrition and a BSc in Pharmacy.
