Stephen Pyke is Parexel's Chief Clinical Data & Digital Officer. In this role, he is accountable for leading and directing Parexel’s AI and clinical data strategies. Mr. Pyke began his career in academia, where he held various research and teaching positions. He subsequently joined the pharmaceutical industry where, over a period of 25+ years, he was fortunate to be given the chance to lead a number of global functional groups at Pfizer and GSK, including Research Statistics, Clinical Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, Clinical Operations, and Development DDA (Digital, Data & Analytics). During this period, Mr. Pyke has also been honoured to serve on the boards of a number of professional and not-for-profit organizations including, among others, as the PSI (Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry) board chair, the RSS (Royal Statistical Society) vice president, and the CDISC (Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium) board chair. He is currently a member of the board of CRDSA (Clinical Research Data Sharing Alliance) and the chair of the ACRO (Associations of Clinical Research Organisations) AI/ML Committee. Mr. Pyke studied mathematics and statistics at, respectively, University of York and Imperial College, London.
